We are located in room E2-262 in E2 building (Engineering 2), at Jack Baskin School of Engineering, UCSC.

To get to Santa Cruz
> From Southern and Central California: Take Route 101 north to Route 156 west to Route 1 north. Then follow Route 1 north to Santa Cruz.
> From Northern California: Take Route 5 south to Route 80 west to Route 680 south to Route 280 north. Then take Highway 17 south to Route 1 north to Santa Cruz.
> From San Francisco Airport: Take Route 101 south to Route 85 south to Highway 17 south to Route 1 north to Santa Cruz.
> From San Jose Airport: Take Route 880 south to Highway 17 south to Route 1 north to Santa Cruz.
> From Monterey Airport: Take Route 1 north to Santa Cruz.
Once in Santa Cruz
To enter through the main entrance: Both highway 1 & 17 in Santa Cruz can lead to Mission Street. From there, take Bay Street, which will lead you to the main Entrance to UCSC. Continue up Coolidge until it becomes McLaughlin Drive. You will find Engineering 2 on the right almost at the end of McLaughlin Drive.
There are several parking options. You can use meter parking lots or spaces designated for valid UCSC permits. See a map with all parking spaces at UCSC here, and find more information about parking at UCSC here.
Meter parking spaces
There are two meter parking lots with pay-stations close to our lab: 1) parking spaces at the Basking Circle (lot 139B) with 10-minute meters, and 2) parking spaces on the second and third floors at the Core West Parking Structure (lot 112) with 2-hour meters. Parking spaces to use with UCSC permits
You can buy a temporary one-day permit from the Main Entrance Information Kiosk located on Coolidge Drive from 7:00am to 1:00pm Monday through Friday, and at the TAPS Parking Sales Office from 1:00pm to 5:00pm (see a map). Find more information about parking permits here.
